Unhappy How to help anxious hamster

Recently I adopted these two adorable winter white russian dwarf hamster (10 weeks old). They are litter mates and have been together since day one but their personalities couldn't be more different. As a (sort of) experienced hamster owner I knew to leave my two new hamsters alone to settle into their new environment however, on the first day when I was refilling the food bowl Arki came onto my hand, she wasn't nervous at all. And now whenever I fill the food bowl she always comes up to my hand and gets on it. Whereas Raptor her sister is completely opposite, she sleeps most of the time and only really comes out when I'm about to sleep, I know this is normal for a new hamster but I feel as if she is getting jealous of Arki getting a lot of attention from me. I did try feeding her a seed from my hand just like you normal do to start taming but she didn't like it at all and ran away. I really don't know what to do with her as I don't want her to get jealous but I also don't think she is ready for any type of handling, what should I do with her?

Congratulations on your new fur babies! It sounds like Arki is unusually tame for a new hamster. I'd just give Raptor more time and some gently coaxing when she's ready. It sounds like she's just nervous at the moment which like you said is normal for a new hamster.

Hi & congrats on your new hams

With any pair to a greater or lesser degree there will always be a dominant/more confident one & a submissive/less confident one & this is probably what you're seeing with your girls.
I would stop using a food bowl & scatter feed to make sure Raptor has plenty of opportunity to get to food & do everything you can in their cage to avoid any territorial issues.
It is early days so I would just keep a close eye on them & give Raptor more time to settle for now.
