Default bedding help

So I'm wondering if anyone could recommend a bedding that's suitable for hamsters, rats and gerbils.

I'm thinking fitch or something called tea bag bedding.

Has anyone ever used tea bag bedding before or fitch with gerbils.

I'm looking for something that'll work with all my furries. I'm so undecided I'm lost lol

For bedding not substrate I use shredded plain white toilet paper for our hamster it is probably universally good for other small furries such as you have.

Fitch is suitable for all pets You won't use as much for rats as you will gerbils and hamsters as gerbils and hamsters burrow while rats don't need very deep substrate(as you probably already know). It's really good due to it not being able to cause allergic reactions like other substrate, plus it has very little dust if any and would not cause respiratory problems.

I haven't heard of tea bag bedding, but to be honest I'd just go with Fitch. You can get massive amounts(bulk orders are cheaper than just getting the single bale),so you can have the ideal depth for gerbils as well as any size hamster but also make it last a very long time for the most part.

I haven't tried the tea bag bedding, I think that might be more suitable for nests rather than substrate but I'm not sure, I'm guessing you mean substrate when you say bedding & I can't see any reason Fitch wouldn't be suitable for all your pets & by far the most economical choice too.

Fitch and Finacard are both brilliant substrates and suitable for all rodents. You can buy both in large bales too which last ages even when you have multiple cages to fill
