Hello fellow hamster enthusiasts! I have not posted much because I have a shy nature and don't talk much online or in real life but I wanted to share a picture of my girl, Doll (named after Doll from Black Butler Book of Circus. She loves climbing, it just reminded me of the character). I started working at PetSmart about a week and a half ago and she had been up for adoption for about 4 months, but was kept in the new arrivals room. When I was training I fell in love with her and brought her home, despite my parents protests. She is very sweet and very goofy, I am so happy i could be her new home (also for all wondering, my parents ended up liking her a lot)

hello glad you got a hammy, their so cute and mine always brightens my day personally. But i just wanted to say that i think your wheel may be too small for you hammy im not sure the size so i could be wrong but the recommended size for a syrian is 12" wheel they may seem huge but its the perfect size so that they dont hurt their back while running. But if you do already have that size wheel my mistake, either way Doll is so cute im glad you decided to adopt her

It's lovely that Doll finally got a loving forever home with you after all that time up for adoption.
She sounds like quite a character!

The wheel does look a bit small in the photo, some syrians are ok with 8" wheels but many do tend to need a bigger one.

Aww, so cute! I don't understand how she could be up for adoption for so long. Well done on bringing her home It's a good job I don't work in a petshop. You probably wouldn't be able to move in my flat for cages :P

thank you for saying something about the wheel, I wasn't sure if it was too small but it seems that you and others are saying it is. I will definitely pick up a bigger one
