Tim E. Bear and Laddie Boy
Hi all. Health issues have kept me away for a while. I wanted to start a thread for the boys and catch HC up on them both. Due to the fact that I couldn't set up playpens or get around too well, the boys haven't had the chance to get in the playpens. They do come out on the bed for a bit, but it's not the same as real outside cage time where they can run around.
Tim E. will come out his cage door on his own and explore the top of the dresser and my bed. But he really isn't fond of being handled. Makes me miss Ted. E. and Nutmeg even more.
Laddie, even though I can't pick him up, he is always happy to come out and get seeds from me. He loves to climb on his houses to look at me through the clear plastic of his Tamburino cage. Laddie lets me pet him as long as I like and doesn't mind if I cup him around his beautiful little body. He is so soft.
I am hoping to be able to set up the playpens for them soon. The boys haven't had the same kind of contact as I was able to give all my other hammies, but as I get better I hope to change that.

Re: Tim E. Bear and Laddie Boy
Sorry to gear you've not been well again but glad to see you back and also to hear how your boys are getting on. I'm sure it must be hard for you to not have the same type of relationship you had with your other hams but I'm sure they're having a lovely life with you nonetheless.

Nice to hear from you again Drk thought not so good that you haven't been so well lately. Hoping you soon feel better. I'm sure the boys are enjoying life just as it is for them and giving you lots of pleasure watching and petting them.
You take care and feel better soon x

Re: Tim E. Bear and Laddie Boy
Good to hear from you again DrK, so sorry you've not been well & it hasn't allowed you to do all the things you would normally like to with the boys, I'm sure they are happy & enjoying life all the same & fingers crossed things will continue to improve for all of you.

I'm sure Tim E and Laddie Boy have been just fine, though I know how much interaction you enjoy with them.

And now for the feline crew.
10 - Mama Kat: Notice the name change? It used to be Mama Cat, but I decided to call her Katerina, Kat for short. This is in my driveway where she waits for me every morning and evening. She walks up to me; about a foot away from me, sits down, and politely waits for me to put her food down in my hallway. The she comes in to eat and off she goes again.
11 - Yin: A lovely close-up.
12 - Yen: Sitting right outside my kitchen window waiting to eat.
13 - Yin: Playing in my living-room on a rainy day.
14 - Yen: Playing in my living-room on a rainy day
The boys will come in the house every so often if it is raining or very hot. They only stay in for a short time and then they want out again.
See you tomorrow.
