Discoveries! (Answers Appreciated)
If you were wondering about Cloud, here's a memorial post: Floating in the Clouds
Discoveries!
So I found a few things. Hamilton is finally recovering. He eats all of his food, but he is a bit nervous eating food my hand still. But he is fine and dandy!
Salt and Pepper though, they are different. The two are starting to bicker a bit, squeaking sometimes, rarely loud though. No blood though. Should I intervene?
Salt has a small black thing in his nose. It looks like a poop. IT seems to be easily removable. Should I do it, and how? He seems to be breathing fine.
I never knew hamsters were so smart. I saw this afternoon, there was a large pile of food on the wheel! I just saw it, and questioned, "Why? How?" heh. I'll remove it in a bit, unless I shouldn't. I also found, underneath the mushroom hidey, there is this large complex tunnel system that spans almost the whole detolf cage!
That's mostly it, answers would be appreciated

You could separate the pair if you want.Honestly, there's no reason not to!It's completely fine and they will be perfectly happy on their own, plus there are a lot of added benefits like less stress and a lot more options when it comes to enrichment ideas.

My Sweep stores food on his wheel sometimes, but then he just likes making noise! I find if I remove it he just puts it back! LOL

Re: Discoveries! (Answers Appreciated)
I would just keep an eye on Salt & Pepper for now, a little bit of bickering & squeaking isn't unusual but watch them carefully for any signs of fighting or one becoming dominant & preventing the other from getting to food or water, if either of those happen you may well need to separate them so be prepared just in case.
If Salt has something stuck to or in his nose just watch to see if it comes away when he grooms if not then have a closer look & remove it if need be.
They are funny when they put food in the wheel lol! The noise can be really annoying though, I'm sure they know that!
Tunnels can be pretty amazing, I love those underground noises & wondering what they're up to in there!
