3 year old hamster tunnelled out of grave!
I'm not sure if this story has been on here before, but it's amazing!

It's from 2000 so it's a very old story. Sounds incredible! Mind you, I'm an old cynic so every time I see that sort of story/hear of unbelievably old hamsters I'm afraid the first thing that pops to mind is that the parents bought a new one and didn't tell the kid!

That's exactly what I thought!
The article only had one picture too - maybe if we'd seen more than one photo we'd know for sure that it was the same hamster?!

Oh dear, I am so gullible lol! It would be nice if it was true though.

Re: 3 year old hamster tunnelled out of grave!
You know though, my very first hamster, Harry, died unexpectedly but the cat went to dig him up a few days later and he wasn't there! My brother said it must have been that another cat or a fox had dug him up already but once I found out they can look ded if too cold I kind of hoped for years that he'd dug himself out! LOL
