Meet my new ham! :D
Hey guys!
It's been almost 8 months since my dear Kiki passed away. I now felt ready for a new furry friend, so today I went to pick up a new hammy!
He was advertised as a 10week old female russian dwarf. However, I believe she is a he! I have my doubts on what species he is though. He looks more like a hybrid to me since I've never seen his coloring before. He is brownish grey with some random brown spots. Nevertheless, he's so adorbs!! Below are some pictures of him.
Also, I don't have a name for him yet! So if any of you can help me with that, that'd be great! I know I like short, cute names that end with an a,e or i. I have one name in mind, which is "Nuka", though I've not decided yet :P

Congratulations on your new hammy! Whatever colour he is he's beautiful. I have no name ideas (I'm terrible at thinking of names!) but I'm sure you'll find a good one soon. Hope taming goes well for you!

Aww he's lovely, congrats!
Pretty sure he'd be a hybrid being a rescue, not sure about colour, looks somewhere between opal & agouti to me but maybe a bit dark, hybrid colours do vary a fair bit & I must admit colours aren't really my strong point lol! He's very beautiful whatever his colour is!

Oooh that sounds really nice, even though I feel it's a common name. I like names you don't hear alot. Thanks for the idea, though! Who knows

Hi,
Your new Hammy looks cool, how about Smudge as a name ? If I had a grey coloured hammy I may probably call he or she Mote...

You could do something really unique and translate words into Latin!I found Umbra very interesting but there are tons of things you could try out and figure out an interesting unique name that really suits your ham.
