Lol - we had a Peppa Pig egg cup and didn't know it The brown substrate mixed in with the Fitch is Oxbow paper bedding. I got some when I ran out of Fitch just to try it. It's ok but I prefer Fitch. Maybe a little bit of dust but no more than Carefresh. It's a US bedding.

Thanks Kiki He does look a bit creaky when he's just woken up but gets quite active out of the cage.

Charlie cage looks really good there is plenty of things for Chatlie to do inside and can play around safety - although he still look really good for two.
I really like the labyrinth house, it so nice to see what he uses each room for - he might like his hoard in the far left corner as it harder for anyone else to get to as they would have to go past him first but his poop room was so cute - and Charlie look like he really enjoys it.
He looked so cute when he had just woken up and when he came out looking for his food.

Thanks SKB - I think that little partition at the back is maybe meant for hoards as it means they're right next to the nest area. I think the poop room is meant for hoards as well!

I did enjoy this from start to finish. Sensible things to think about when a hammy becomes less mobile. The Rodipet house tour was great! Hello Charlie! Loved to see him come out and show us around. All new chews in the bathroom-that is playing very safe boy!
I went into Mocho's house when he was out and he watched me anxiously but didn't interfere. Room 1 is his bathroom and I cleaned that out. Room 2 is the hoard and had a partial clean. Room 3, the furthest in is the nest and I left that alone for this time so as not to upset him too much.

What a sensible boy Mocho is having his rooms laid out like that It sounds ideal with the hoard in the middle. I'm going to have to a have a poke around soon too as Charlie must have hoarded so much stuff in there now.

The Carrot chew has been moved from the toilet to being buried under the substrate in the house. How he did that without getting sand in his mouth I don't know!

I had a bit of a poke around at the mountain on the corner of his house and it's just a big pile of substrate (clearly sounproofing then and have lowered it a bit and finally got round to putting his round hay house in that corner, so that's something else to keep him occupied.

Loved the cage tour! The snooze cube on the house was adorable and I LOVED the Peppa Pig cup!

It's cute watching him eating out the Piggy egg cup (I'm still in shock that it is Peppa Pig lol! We always thought the Piggy egg cup was a boy!)
