Ernie as a young ham


Ernie as a sleepy old man ham a couple of weeks ago, he looks much brighter when he is wide awke and his ears are up!

They are a real credit to you! Ernie is looking good for his age Still has lots of hair!

Thanks, I don't think I've done anything special I've just been lucky that they have been healthy . Ernie's fur is quite thin now and his back legs are a but stiff but he's a little trooper!

Maxi was 3 years and 8 months old when she died. She was a wonderful little ham. I loved that girl. Never thought a ham could live that long, let alone a Campbell's! *reminisces*

I think I am very late to this post, but I was directed this way. I have a Syrian who was rescued called Ron. He is 3 and a half years old. I don't know an exact age as he was rescued. He is a grumpy and demanding little man who I think believes he is the king! I had him in my class room (I'm a teacher) for a year and a half which he loved. I think he enjoyed the stimulation and attention. The children weren't allowed to take him home though. I did, so he became very adaptable, he was like my little dog, only a hamster. He would even come to the stables with me every day after school in his travel cage.

Three and a half years old is amazing for a Syrian! Ron sounds to have had lots of happy times and still being a King! He sounds like a great personality
