Default Hammy Beach Trip

I couldn't resist when I saw seaside accessories in the pet shop! Why I decided to do my first photoshoot with three hamsters, I don't know. I'm used to nice Chineseys who stay where they're put and pose for the camera. One Campbell dad and his two pups were interesting. 100+ photos later, I managed to get a decent one although the argente pup was busy exploring elsewhere.

Next time I'll use Chinese hams! I have a feeling more summery pics with the beach props will be occurring in the next few days.

Great photo Vectis, it's so hard to get hyper hamsters to sit still

I must look in my local pet shop for beach-themed items...

Several people have mentioned getting the beach hut but the deck chair is just too cute! Amazing you got a photo at all on it!

I had another play, this time with three 8 week old Syrian sisters. They were a little more amenable to photos although they quickly worked out the beach hut made a good escape route!

I love the dwarf hammy photos especially the one snoozing in the hut. But HA HA at the Syrian pups LOL! They do seem to like going head first into something and leaving the butt outside - and I swear she is having a poo behind the deck chair on that last one

They are all lovely photos - great lighting in the bin - it kind of diffuses it. I always have this image of what kind of photo I'd like to take and it never comes off because Syrians seem to do exactly the opposite of what you'd like them to do somethimes lol. But that just makes the photos more fun then.

I haven't done a photoshoot since Lady May's Christmas shoot but those beach huts were just calling for a photoshoot weren't they?

Here's the results of James's...

And a little behind the scenes video...

As you can see by the video, I didn't have an actual blue background so it was added in Photoshop.
