Default Hamster Room Revamp

Today's the day!

I currently have all my hammies and doops in my living room and bedroom, and Woof is in daycare while building work is happening in the hamster room. I've wanted direct access into the back garden for ages, and after months of planning it's happening today: French doors are being fitted in the hamster room. It may seem an odd choice, but it's technically the 2nd bedroom, and the wall heater in there hadn't worked for years so it does actually make sense.

An empty hamster room is a sad hamster room:

Hopefully it'll be all done by this evening.

Oh it really does look sad without all the hammies in there! Fingers crossed it all gets done nice and quickly so they can move back in!

It does look empty without the hammies in there doesn't it?!

Hopefully it'll be done soon and they can move back in as soon as possible, I do love French doors

I'm way more excited to see the final result than I should be. You better hurry up so the sad hamster room can be a happy hamster room again

Here's a little preview of the finished doors (yes they're done already! Very efficient fitters):

I'm waiting for the dust to settle and I'll give the room a good clean before putting all the hammies back home.

Oooo good luck, I remember getting French doors in the living room when I was a child, I was amazed that the workmen where able to complete in one day!

Blimey that was quick! I would of thought it took ages ...! But then I don't know anything about building!

Wow, that was quick! When we were younger we had French doors and it took them a week to fit them!

They do look awesome though and let lots of light into the room

Looking good! Quite a transformation, it will look even better once the hams are back in there though
