Oops!
Today I made a very, very grave error. We'd just nipped into my small local petshop to pick up some sand for my future hamster, when I made the terrible, terrible mistake of going to "have a quick look" at the little ones. To cut a long story short... we're picking her up as soon as her cage arrives! She's a sort of grey colour, she's short haired, and I've already named her Lily Luna.
Now hurry up and arrive, Barney cage!
(I wouldn't normally choose to buy a pet shop hamster but the owner of the shop breeds them all herself at home and they're really well cared for in store.)

Re: Oops!
I used a second (or possibly third) hand Zoozone 2 for my two previous fluffies, Minnie and then Joshie, but it's come to the end of its useful life and I wouldn't be happy to put a baby in there, so new cage it is! I'm really excited to get it set up for her

Re: Oops!
While you're waiting you could plan the cage layout And get all the things ready that you need. Do you have a wheel?

Re: Oops!
Everything's on the way with the cage I've got some bits and bobs coming from Amazon which should be arriving tomorrow, and then I did a big order from Zooplus when I got the cage. My last wodent wheel had pee pretty much ingrained into it because I've had it since Minnie (four years ago now!) and after a point there's only so much cleaning you can do!

Re: Oops!
How exciting. I have two barney cages. One for a very laid back male syrian and one for a very lively female syrian. Great cage. Lucky new Lily Luna.

Re: Oops!
With the bank holiday everything's bound to take a little longer to come, but I'd really appreciate it if the cage arrived on Wednesday so I can pick her upon Thursday morning- we'll be out all day so she can have some quiet time to settle in! Come on Zooplus, don't let me down
