Default Poundland hamster products

Hi I was in Poundland today and saw they had hamster products, bendy bridges, plastic food bowls and a chews house. They also had some unsuitable things too very small hamster balls and fluffy bedding.

I bought 4 bendy bridges and a cheese house for £4.

I also got a skull Halloween candle holder as well.

Good finds Orion, especially the wooden log bendy bridges which usually cost around £2.99p upwards online and in pet shops. Just a wee word of caution though before using them. Check them for any potential gaps in the wood and the wire or staples holding them together. It`s worthwhile checking these and run your hand over them to check for any splinters or sharp pieces that can be filed down or made safe. x

I was in poundland this week too! I also got a bendy bridge (I have so many already but £1 is too good to pass up) and a crinkle tunnel and some willow sticks which Cc has never had before and liked very much. The cheese house is cute but too small for our needs there were grass nests there too which I would definitely have bought if I didn't already have a Trixie one and some little wooden hanging chews very similar to the ones you get on p@h. I was quite impressed! I meant to take a photo while I was there but I was too busy buying spooky paper lanterns

I bought 7 (SEVEN!!!) candle holders but I didn't see any sugar skull ones, that's very cool. Cc is getting the pumpkin one since it's the biggest, the rest are a bit too small to risk her getting stuck in.

Thank goodness you posted this thread Orion! I actually need some bendy bridges, so will be popping into PL tomorrow.
That's a great bargain!
I so hate seeing that fluffy bedding on display.

Technically not hamster products, but for ages (I haven't been recently, but they might still be there) there have been these little ceramic baking trays in various shapes, sizes and colours. They make really good sand baths/potties. =3

I read this thread because I thought "what the h%&*@#ll is poundland?" By reading this thread, I guess it might be the equivalent of the dollar store in the US.

Yes, it is. I'm curious - what did you think it might be?
