A little journey

Hello all,

So after moving into my new house around 2 years ago I was always tempted to walk everywhere as I am close to a shopping estate. So yesterday I decided to buck up and do it. So myself and the dog walked along a pathway that runs parallel to the road in search for our golden destination at the end (which was a pet shop!!) So it took me around an hour to get there and back as I have to walk on the pavement for a bit to get back home; the joys of parallelness (I have seemed to make a real word XD). So managed to have a panting dog afterwards and a large bag full of Carefresh bedding! You can imagine it was difficult juggling a puppy, a bag for life, a dog toy and two packs of large Carefresh bedding along the pavement but we made it.

Will be doing future journeys there and this morning bought two wheels for Meeko, one a medium sized wheel and the other an 18.5 inch flying saucer as she has always liked those (is this the right size- the flying saucer that is?) which are sitting nicely in her cage. Her other wheel was to small in the end but only she had decided this yesterday as her back wasn't arched on it in the past. So I have changed some of Meeko's toys in her cage so they are her favourite so she can have a nice little send off. I know this may have caused stress but I want her last cage set up to be fun and cosy, so she can have the perfect cage with all of her favourite things. I have put in two wheels as I want her to decide which is best so she can use which ever she wants and which will be the least painful.

The tuma on Meeko is getting larger so will include a pic beneath, she doesn't seem to be showing any signs of pain at all though, which is good.

Sorry to hear meeko's tumour is getting bigger, bless you wanting to make sure she has her fave things and is comfy.

Yes I can imagine carrying all those things lol! It makes your arms ache. It's good to find a new route and a new walk though

And Meeko will appreciate your purchases. Maybe invest in a bag on wheels? And tie the dog lead to the bag handle?

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that Meeko's tumor is getting worse. Well, you seem to have put a lot of effort into making sure that he is as comfortable as possible! I think the new layout is AMAZING! Good job!

Aww, thank you all. The new bag sounds like a good idea to invest in (tries to find one with a paw print pattern XD, it really does make your arms ache, Meeko has appreciated the purchases already and is going bonkers on the flying saucer. Thank you wanna hamster as well for saying that I put in the effort that is such a nice thing to say
