Default To those who work at Pets at Home or Jolleys

I am asking out of curiosity. Does your place of work keep track on how many animals a person buys over the years? Just that I know a few people who have bought multiple animals (not at one time) from your stores and the staff members (new and old) have said to them that they know they have bought animals from them before despite said people never seeing a particular staff member.

I dont work at either but at pets at home to buy an animal now you have to sign an agreement on an ipad and they can search through your purchase history to see what pets you have brought from them. They also check records of animal cruelty and records of if you have taken any back or sent them into the in store adoption centres at least thats what they do where i live! It is also pretty helpful to the buyer as if its your first time buying that particular pet then they offer help and advice and give you tips on looking after it. Ive heard (not experienced myself) that they now also phone you up a couple of days in after buying a pet, to make sure you are getting on okay with it and aren't experiencing any trouble with it

I think you may have just answered my question. To me, those ipads, were an alternative to signing paper as a means to somehow saving the planet. Well that's what I thought anyway. The more I think about it, the more it makes sense. When my mam and I went to buy a hamster, the lady did mention to us that I signed up for their membership without me or my mam even saying anything about it.
