@Cmb thats what I plan on doing Im just afraid that Milo (my hamster) wont be able to climb them if they are PVC pipes and ovo toobs are a bit pricy so idk how im gonna do it

If the tube is the right size the hamster pushes itself against the sides of the tubes with its body and feet to get up and down.

You may be able to make the insides of the tubes rough to give more grip for your hamster to help it climb up and down.

Some wire inside the edge of the tube may work.

If the tanks are the same height and width you could remove one end off each tank and use aquarium sealer to join the tanks together.

thank you for the help, but sadly the tanks are not the same size as for the toobs might try the wire that should help

Try the pipes without the wire first and if the hamster can climb ok leave them without wire.

The wire could be hard to add.
