Cute. My fluffy white syrian hamster Woodstock has red eyes and he is beautiful.

Re: Red Eyes- Creepy or Cute?
They are definitely cute! I've owned 4 red-eye hammies. Both of my RCD hammies have red eyes! It's just their pigmentation, nothing creepy about them at all. I like black & red eye hammies equally!

Re: Red Eyes- Creepy or Cute?
I voted creepy, but I don't think creepy is the right word for how I feel.
They're adorable. I love seeing photos of red eyed hamsters and following their stories. But I personally prefer the black eyes, and I don't see myself owning a red eyed hamster. Unless I ever have the opportunity to own a hamster with one black eye and one red eye, because I think that's just the coolest thing ever!

Thank you for all the responses, I really don't care what color the eyes are as long as they are good hamsters

Re: Red Eyes- Creepy or Cute?
I used to think that red eyes were a little bit creepy, but my new little hammy has persuaded me otherwise! Now I can't get enough of cute little red eyes.

I'm not as big a fan of red eyes...certain hamsters with red eyes I'm not a huge fan of (wouldn't call it creepy, they just don't 'speak' to me like others) whereas others I couldn't care less about their eye colour.

I personally do not care. To me, they are still as adorable as any hamster and should be treated indifferently (unless of course, it wasn't natural and instead was a health problem).

Mikey has red eyes and he is cute as far as I am concerned. Hence my vote in favour. Only in hamsters though. I don't think they would suit me!

Re: Red Eyes- Creepy or Cute?
I must admit I'm not drawn to red eyes, I'm sure I would love a red eyed ham just as much but I would have to get to know him/her! I prefer the look of black eyes but the deep blacky-red of some dove hams is pretty. odd eyes are weird and when I first catch sight of one in a pic I get a lurch that its hurt its eye or something. If it was my ham I would get used to it though I'm sure
