ok i made a mistake

as you can read through the title i made a mistake with my hammy but the weirdest thing happened today. Okay so i was trying to get a taming session going/photo session but milo has been pretty lethargic today and has been hiding in his little mailbox/hidey home. So i decided to take it out of the cage and just take some photos of him in it outside of the tank. In hindsight i should of just left him alone but at the time i was like wow great idea. anyways, so i took him out and i started to take photos (which i will add) and he seemed different he made this weird face that i have never seen him make before. And i guess it was because i upset him i suppose but out of nowhere he leaps out of his mailbox kinda hissing and oh my did i scream. Not necessarily because i was scared (only a little) but more because i did not see that coming and boy did i have trouble trying to get him back into his cage. But now that little guy is full of energy now. But yea that was my little story i just had to share. Also looking back at the photos he was definitely upset.

Don't beat yourself up about it, I'm sure we've all done something similar! At least you recognise why he reacted like he did.

yeah i know and thanks for being supportive it was just such a weird experience because milo has never done anything like this before

I can imagine that it must have been a shock (for both of you). Sounds like you have realised your error and have learned from it.
