Question Wetish Belly?

My hamster Bitsy's belly looks like he has been bathing in water. It's not actually wet tho, it looks like it's wet but it isn't. The belly is yellow aswell (its supposed to be white), He has been like this for 1 week now. He doesn't seem sick since he is eating, and has very much energy. What can this be?

I can't remember, is Bitsy a dwarf hamster? I seem to remember reading that. If so, a dwarf ham has a scent gland on their belly that can look wet at times & is yellowish. They can get problems with it though. Is it constantly wet?

It sounds like the scent gland to me too, has he had any cage changes or anything that might be causing him to mark his territory more than usual?
It's probably fine but just keep an eye on it to make sure it hasn't got infected or blocked.

You know how human hair can get kind of greasy if you don't wash it for awhile? If that's how your hamster's hair is, it may simply be the sweat gland creating the same kind of effect. Just be sure to watch for any evolving symptoms.
