A tiny thing happened, a tiny white thing
I can't keep using a hamster heaven as a luxury travel cage, that's insane. Right? Such a waste.
A ham can't live for more than three months in an adoption section when a person has a cage empty that's being wasted? Also right? My logic feels sound.
So.
Cc has a little brother! He was called Jerry and I assume it was a brother called Tom that he fought with and was so returned he will be renamed something that is his own little name, probably after someone from Star Wars since we're about to go and see it! Maybe Hux after the very pale Domhnall Gleeson? Maybe Poe because that's just a great little name? Who knows!
He is very brave and even sat on my hands for a little bit in the shop before he decided he had enough and communicated that very clearly with teeny tiny ineffectual teeth :3 not an ounce of fear in him now that he's settling in either, you'd think he'd been in that cage for weeks.

Re: A tiny thing happened, a tiny white thing
Shannon that is just brilliant news! Of course an HH can't be kept empty in that large hamster room you now have. My hubby has hidden my empty one in the garden shed as he is afraid it will reproach me constantly. He does accept the logic of having a second ham with an overlap in age but I haven't won yet!

Your logic seems perfect!
What a cute little guy. I rather like the name Poe.

Your logic sounds flawless to me! Aw he looks a little darling, stuffing his face there! How lovely that you have given him a forever home after he had such a long wait, looking forward to hearing more about him!

Re: A tiny thing happened, a tiny white thing
Bf was warned, I said "don't let me come away with a ham" because I knew I was vulnerable and I did so well looking at two other little lovely grey dwarfs who were recent additions to the adoption section and both had some attention from potential homes while we were there. I almost had my heart stolen by a tiny robo even though I have nowhere to put a robo and I was just taking one final look before we left when a little scruffy white thing moved and I caught sight of the date on the paper, September
I was lost immediately, bf tried valiantly but it was too late. He looked so scruffy and sad and he'd been there so long, I was powerless!!

Re: A tiny thing happened, a tiny white thing
A hamster heaven would be totally wasted as a travel cage so what else could you have done?
Very cute little white addition. Congratulations.

Re: A tiny thing happened, a tiny white thing
Oooh he looks like a Poe to me! Great name. So exciting - glad you got him Shannon. I also tried the "overlap of age" thing so new one arrives before Charlie leaves us - but other half wasn't having it. The logic was lost in the horror of sharing me with two babies instead of one.
