My partner, who didn't know the newbie was even coming, saw him and instantly thought "Wallace" so that's the newbies new name

This evening has been stressful and heartbreaking though. I went into the bunny room to get Wallace a new wheel to find one of my rabbits collapsed. We rushed her to the vets but it's not looking good. She's very poorly. To be honest I don't expect her to make the night. Sorry to bring such bad news after such a good start to the evening.

Got a pic of Wallace, he's very fond of millet and cheese! I gave him an empty Loot Crate that my partner had as a new house, he seems a bit confused by it lol

Would you look at that gorgeous little man! I think Wallace suits him perfectly!

Sorry to hear about your bun though, that's awful news

Thank you everyone. Freya is staying at the vets for fluids, syringe feeding and observation. The on call vet will be checking on her and giving her fluids every three hours during the night (she's also on a drip) and he will ring me in the night if there are any changes. If not I'm going in at half eight tomorrow morning to take my kitten in to be spayed and will go and see her then.

I was concerned that she had fallen and injured her back because of the way she was splayed out but the vet x-rayed her straight away and they were all find which is good.

I'll let you guys know how she is.

Wallace has been cheering me up though, he's adorable! Had lots of cuddles, he climbed up onto my shoulder so I put my back against the sofa where my partner was and he climbed into him and had a good ol' explore and a bite of a few buttons.

Another pic of the funny fluffball

A couple of spooky things that I've just realised... If it wasn't for Wallace I wouldn't have gone up to the bunny room for at least two more hours which could have been too late for Freya and I've just noticed that Wallace has a missing toe - just like my Syrian Badger had (although a different toe). Spooky!

What an evening for you. Obviously Wallace was meant to be with you. Hope that means Freya will pull through ok too.
Welcome to HC Wallace. You are a lucky boy but you deserve it!

We had to make the heartbreaking decision to have Freya put to sleep after her condition worsened. I'm heartbroken. She was only a baby and the second baby rabbit I've lost. I feel so to blame. I'm sorry Freya
