Default Any idea how I can wrap this?

Huzzah the cage arrived in time. Bad quality picture but my little Annie had just gone behind the cage so I had to grab a pic..

The house as you all say is a little small but it is rather kawaii.
Sid is now in situ upstairs and is being left to settle, hopefully he wont be finding the move too traumatic.

Lovely photo! It's the entrance holes that are a bit small on the house - a Syrian could get stuck in them - depending on how small or big your hamster is.

The house and the platform hole are very pointless if I knew someone DIY savvy I would have them make the two holes into one as the design is very cute. Although I do love his sputnik I have not come across this colour before.. Looking forward to the rest of the cage accessories arriving shame they didn't all get here at once but having his cage is the main thing.

I would go with just a bow.
Lovely to see Sid in his Sputnik.

I took the plastic shelf out of my alaska and threw away the house (I didnt like the look of it though). My teeny roborovski could have fitted in the house but I prefer wood.

Love the sputnik. Such a great colour (as I said in your other thread) hope lovely Sid is enjoying his new home.

Could you maybe reuse that cute, but too small, house as a planter? With maybe hamster-edible herbs spilling out of the holes?

I really like that idea brain girl..

I want rid of the plastic shelf, thinking of replacing with a wooden platform or a couple of wooden corner shelves, can't seem to find a seller for them though and there is now way I would attempt making them lol.. I think a platform would be the better option because I'm hoping to get a detolf in the new year and it could then be used in that.

Do you mean like a stand-alone unit like the Ikea Knuff hack? Or something that attaches to the bar of the cage with ramps and stuff? The Knuff hack has been done by several members here and you can see how-tos and results in the DIY section or by googling it. Relatively easy. I think someone was also selling their handiwork, just ask around
