I caught Sid going in and out of the dreaded hamster head house last night so I went to remove it today while he was sleeping and it has become his toilet says it all really.. Looks like I will need a hamster potty with lid, this guy obviously likes his privacy.
Ha ha love it! Definitely best to remove it in case he gets stuck after a sudden growth spurt. One of mine liked using his proper hamster toilet, but he seems to have stopped using it as he's got bigger, obviously it's too tight a fit now! He did then start going inside a cardboard box I'd given him so I think he likes his privacy too. The toilet I bought was the savic one and I used sand inside rather than the potty litter that comes with it.
