Happy Birthday Chubs x

Well my adoptee Russian hybrid male Chubs from Pets At Home has turned two years old today. I`ve had him for a year now and the photo is courtesy of my good friend zany_toon who picked him up for me at the time and drove him over to me. It was taken at her house so it`s not an up to date image, but my goodness, he hasn`t changed! He was originally called Cubby (I changed it to Chubby!) and was returned to the store for his `attitude` apparently. Are`nt they all!

I`ve sang Happy Birthday to him, he`s had a little piece of apple, broccoli and lettuce leaf and has stayed in bed. There`s gratitude for you! He`s a contented wee soul and it was chance that I got him as I was looking for a another Chinese hamster, but the gumtree advert fell through, so this wee chap was spotted by zany_toon in the store where she lives and that was it. I had two single robos before I took in Chubs and it was a bit different to having speedy mad robos! But I wouldn`t swap him for anything, he`s been great. Here he is, noshing in a dish of food before he was brought over to live with me.

Happy Birthday Chubs! Wonderful to make 2 years. You have no idea how much you have been rolling in clover for this past year. A lovely stately gentleman he sounds too RH. Glad it's a happy day for him.

Many thanks guys. As you can see from the image, he was a little on the thin side when I got him but he has put weight back on. He`s just scampered out of his nest and into his Chube tube, sitting there nibbling away on something! He`s a sly wee character and likes to dart into his hidey holes thinking I won`t see him! x
