Safe Hamster toys and cage accessories
image.jpg
Hi everyone,
This week we have had Secret Santa at my works and part of my present was the above picture which is a cloth type soft house in the shape of a Christmas Tree which is extremely cute. But on thinking as I was about to place it into Baileys cage how safe is it? And would it be safe for him to chew? I know where it was bought because I have seen them in my local P@H stores so I would like to think they are very safe, but before I place into his cage it would be nice to get a second opinion as the thought of Bailey ingesting any of this cloth is not a nice thought.
Many Thanks
LL

Re: Safe Hamster toys and cage accessories
These are really cute but unless you can be sure your ham won't chew it best kept for out of cage, supervised use.

Re: Safe Hamster toys and cage accessories
Thank you Cypher you have confirmed exactly what I thought it will be used for Bailey playtime only. Which only makes me think about Toys and Cage Accessories in general as i have been looking online for things for Bailey to climb on as he loves climbing and to be honest he isn't much of a chewer but my local pet stores have very little choice.. xxxxx

Re: Safe Hamster toys and cage accessories
They are pretty cute but I think only suitable if you know your ham won't chew, like cypher said. I wanted some christmas things for their cages & a couple of bits for Christmas photo shoots & I was deciding between that & a bed thingy & Santa hat , which I went with in the end. None of them are suitable cage things for either of my hams but as supervised play things have been fun.

Just wanted to say I love that your secret santa included something for Bailey as part of your gift.
