Help! Hamster or other?
Hello all,
It's been a while since I've logged in! Anyway, I was online and spotted a so called hamster on a blog, but am not sure if it is! I contacted the photo poster and owner of the animal, and they confirmed it was, however I have my suspicions so turned to you guys! From this picture, what do you think? Is this a hamster, or another animal? If so, what animal?

(in a robotic voice) Animal Confirmed I think it is a dwarf maybe. Looks like it. But if it was a hamster, wouldn't it have chewed up all the pages by now?

Many of you say they're a hamster, so I'll go with that! It's just such an unusual shape for one, yet so cute! Is there a specific breeding element in this? Or are some just shaped like this? Anyone have one like this or know one please share! Xx

Maybe you're just more familiar with syrian hams, the shape looks fairly normal for a little russian ball of fluff to me!

I never really thought about it but I suppose they are a bit, I've never had a syrian though so can only go by photos.
