Re: Favourite toys ??
I had mine in an Alaska for a while. There's lots of room on the ceiling bars to add things for them to climb on. Grass mats, sputniks, hanging bridges (check out ranch house cages on eBay they have great stuff), sand bath (use chinchilla sand, Not chinchilla dust). One of mine has those wooden chews you can attach to the cage bars with a screw, but as a set of steps up to one of his sputniks. He likes those a lot. Both mine have sand baths and 2 rat size sputniks and bendy tubes to get into the sputniks. Also bendy bridges to hide in, Nibble likes to use his as an extra place to watch me from when he's not in his nest box. There's lots of ideas, I've tailored my cages to the personality of the occupant e.g. If yours climbs like a loon like mine, choose toys that will help break falls so they don't hurt themselves. He needs much more "stuff" than Nibble's does to keep him occupied, Nibble's needs are much simpler. But neither has any chews as toys, just a Whimzees each to keep their teeth trim.
