Hamster Advent Calanders
So I have just been presented with a Trixie advent calandar for rabbits and small rodents. It looks nice and I do love spoiling Loki, however I just wanted to know if all the treats are hammy safe? I can't find a link but the treats are:
A biscuit ring (which looks sugary so he won't be getting it all at once)
Wild berry milk drops
Milk and honey drops
Cereal carrot bites
Cinnamon biscuit (dubious about cinnamon)
Beetroot cereal snacks
Banana chips
Dried carrot
Beetroot bites.
Is there anything here he 100% should not be having? I know I know I need to watch the sugar so are I say if they're ok for him he will only get bits of those.
Thank you! X

Re: Hamster Advent Calanders
I would give my hammy everything apart from the cinnamon and sugary ring. I would exclude the same as you. The good thing is these treats are small and it's daily, so it's suitable for your ham.

Re: Hamster Advent Calanders
It sounds more exciting than the Pets at Home one that I bought a couple of years ago for Stitch and Meat. it only had yoghurt drops in which got a bit boring for them.
Where did you get your advent calendar from?

Re: Hamster Advent Calanders
I agree with Fluffagrams, that your advent calendar sounds more tastier and different.
I got the pets at home one and it's chocolate drops. It won't matter to Twinkle, she'll scoff them no problem.
I'd also like to know where you got the advent calendar!

Haha, Loki would be on those chocolate drops! He loves them! I got it from a little local pet shop in Kingston Upon Thames call Woofs a Daisy. They stock these carrot gnaws he likes and I really couldn't resist, it was £5.50 which is pretty good for the variety and its a really chunky thing!

Re: Hamster Advent Calanders
I will definitely be looking into something like that for next years advent calendar.
I bought Twinkle some treats she's not had and I'm going to mix it up so she gets variety.
