Is can pumpkin puree safe for hamsters?

I found a dog treat reciepe that I want to try for my dog. I thought the hamsters would also enjoy it but I'm not 100 %sure about the ingredients. I have Syrians and a dwarf. Thank you!

As long as it's just pumpkin puree without spices added to it you should be safe!

That looks like a nice healthy treat recipe that's totally suitable for hams of any species, not too much of course, as BrainGirl said just check that the pumpkin has nothing added.

I used to make biscuits for my dog. They were really good hot out of the oven with butter Once they'd cooled they were hard as rocks!

Thanks! I thought it was all safe but I wanted to be sure. I split one biscuit betweem 3 hams and they were a big hit!
