Hammy Nightmare
Have any of you had nightmares about your hams?
Mine last night was so real, i woke up at 4 am just to check on Pips. I dreamt her cage was severely damaged with the top cracked in 2 and the bottom corner chewed really bad. Then somehow she was sick. Took her to the vet, and all her fur was gone, and she had sores all over.

Re: Hammy Nightmare
Awww that's horrible! I wonder what was going through your head to give you such a bad dream?
You're not alone though, I've had several over the years, usually when I'm a bit worried about something & my silly brain gets it totally out of proportion!

I have no idea. Shes fine, no issues at all. She even got a cage makeover, much more entertaining now. So i dunno why my brain went like...derp.

Re: Hammy Nightmare
Not fun
When I first started owning hamsters I had them all the time. I think I was just a paranoid new ham mum. Very rare for me to have nightmares about them now though.

Re: Hammy Nightmare
Aw it's just a stress dream. You're worried about your fluff subconsciously. Any good ham mom would be. Try to think happy ham thoughts as you drift off to sleep.

Re: Hammy Nightmare
Oh, poor your Plumcore. Sometimes i have nightmares that are just "meh" and sometimes they make cry so I do sympathise if you've had an upsetting one. Even when I wake up and know it wasn't real I still feel upset sometimes. Silly, huh? But at least you got to wake up and see your fluff and realise none of it was real. I bet she for an extra treat today though, didn't she?

Re: Hammy Nightmare
Aquatic ham! XD Nice!
Yeah maybe. It could have been her sniffing after the new substrate came in, she does that untill it settles.
