Default Halloween is coming

Now i know that there are some people that like to dress up their pets on halloween I've enver done it, because my cat, kitty, has never really beeen fond of wearing stuff and will actively glare at me if i did, which is why i stopped

Is it ok to dress up hamsters? nothing too big, maybe like, a little top hat or witch cap or a cap or something.

I wanted to maybe try that and take cute photos, but i'm not too well versed on the ettiquette of wether or not to dress hamsters

I've seen many pictures of rats in fancy dress and think it looks quite sad actually. I like pets to look like pets and not like humans. There is no benefit to the pets being dressed up and can stress them out. Some dogs and horses need coats in cold weather. My opinion is unless its necessary to dress up a pet you shouldn't. But if you can find a way that doesn't stress out your pet for a quick picture ie placing a little hat on while your pet eats a tasty treat you can. And there's no halm in accessorising your hamsters home

Decorate the cage and Photoshop a wizards hat and beard on the ham I don't mind dogs dressed up, so long as they're not looking completely miserable but most other animals don't seem to really know what's happening. I've never seen a happy cat in fancy dress lol

Hams are nervous wee creatures at the best of times and in my experience don't like being restrained for too long. Trying to get anything more complicated than a hat on them is probably going to be annoying or scary for them and maybe quite bitey and bloody for you. If you're quick with a camera I guess a hat might work?
