Seren's still got it!
Houdini skills I mean
I'm away from home for a few days looking after "my" part-time dog. I called my roommate for updates tonight and he told me that he called the cat in and they walked together to the bathroom, where they were both astonished to find Seren eating from the cat's dish! Her cage is at the other end of the house and out of reach of the cat. Not that fear of cats has ever stopped Seren...

Hahaha That's brilliant! I have visions of her just looking up at them just going "s'up" and carrying on eating

That's pretty much how my roommate described the incident!

Re: Seren's still got it!
Blimey! The cheeky rascal. I'd love to have seen the cat's expression at Seren eating it's food.
Please remember cats are hunters, even if it doesn't show it.
How did she escape from her cage?

Re: Seren's still got it!
Oh I know that, it's why Seren's cage is kept well out of reach! Seren's never shown any fear of the cat though and she does have a history of getting out of things I thought were secure.

Oh that's too funny! Although I bet the cat didn't think so!

Re: Seren's still got it!
Seren's definitely the female Houdini.

Re: Seren's still got it!
The cat's resigned herself to the fact that she's outnumbered I think

Re: Seren's still got it!
Oh my, she did it again. I was on the phone with my roommate to check up on the family members (of all stripes) and then we said goodnight to each other. 5 minutes later my phone rang and thinking it might be an emergency I pulled the car over to answer it. He'd been in the living room where Seren's cage is and then went to the bathroom to take his lenses out. What did he find but Seren herself drinking out of the cat's water dish and mewing plaintively for her turn!
I've bought more wire mesh. Her cage is going to look like Fort Knox by the time I'm done with it
