Question Transport?

ok first of all... idk if this is the right topic :P
well it is because... i want to be sure to get a real winter white or campbell and that and for sure not hybrid.. but the only way i can do that is then to buy it in another country... (in denmark its mostly syrians and winter white tho... but mostly hamsters is easyer to get another countrys you know...) .. and my hamster (poro) is bought at a petshop as i know because we bought it from some people so :P so that means she is like a hybrid because we havent got a prove that she is winter white.. (every breeders rule is no prove then its hybrid xD) and the black cambells is pretty rare in denmark too so wanna ask if its able to buy them in another country and get them transported to denmark without stressing them in any way? if no how to i then get the hamster color an d stuff i want? want to get it and be sure its 100% the right hamster and not hybrid... sorry im bad at explaining

I don't know for certain, maybe someone else does, but to be honest Hamsters travel badly and are easily stressed. Personally I would not want to import a hamster as they are not likely to survive the trip or at least will be severly traumatised by it. The only way I could really see it working is if you purchase one in a neighbouring country and then drive the hamster back across with you in a carrier. You would need to plan very well and hopefully not have a journey of more than a few hours. I would still see it as risky though.

You would best contacting the breeder in another country and asking them really, they will know more about how their hamsters travel. I've heard of hams doing 4-5 hour car trips with no ill effects before but a breeder might have a limit on how far they would be willing to let them travel.

I work for a pet shipping agent and we categorically refuse to transport hamsters by air - we've done it in the past, but they've either died in transit or shortly upon arrival at their destination, so we will not attempt it anymore.

I'd just 'make do' with the colour choice available to you. It's not worth risking a hams life just so you can get one in the colour you like IMO.
