Just watching him scurry around is reward enough for taking him, he is getting a little spinning saucer today rather than flipping himself in a wheel and giving me a heart attack, although I am fully prepared for him to just stop running and fly off of it!

Congratulations on the adoption. Poor Hades was very lucky to survive in a house with 2 Jack Russells, they are bred to hunt rodents, the Labrador have soft mouths so I doubt it would have done him any harm.

He looks so cute and will be more so once his relaxed back and realises his safe. His probably a bit stunned at the moment. What a stupid Mum to take him out of his cage outside, it just shows you what sort of life he has had, poor thing.

I know I was so shocked. I just held him for a second and put him back in where he could hide. He came out in full force last night and is sleeping out in the open in a little nest he has made today so it seems he's feeling more comfortable. Making him a bin cage today and getting him a spinner and toys. Poor little thing doesn't have anything at the moment, glad we took him to be honest. I hate the thought he would of been stuck bored in a very small cage if he stayed there.

Good job on rescuing the poor guy! I'm just a bit cautious of the flying saucer as sometimes they get flung out when they suddenly stop. But he's gonna be a spoiled ham for sure!

I can't make my mind up on if I want to get the saucer or just let him 360 in his wheel it just scares me when he does that
