hamster+hamster heaven question

Hi, my brother has a hamster called cookie, hes had her about 5 months and has decided due to having other things to do, that he has passed her onto me! Im quite glad with it as she wasnt out of her cage as much as she should be

I will definately be treating her much more just like snowy and fudge! I am on a very low budget for a new cage, which she needs! I have found a hamster heaven cage on gumtree for sale for £20!near where i live however it doesn't have the tubes or the penthouse. Would cookie get bored without them as snowy has them on hers and plays with them a lot x baring in mind cookie at the moment has a pets at home tiny cage compared to a hamster heaven x

Personally I think the hamster heaven is better without using the tubes & penthouse so I wouldn't worry about it, you'd be getting a good cage at a bargain price & it's easy enough to make it interesting with other toys & you could always attach hanging cardboard tubes or something if you wanted some kind of tube set up for her.

Go for it Candice. Both my daughter Dusty and I have the HH and neither of us use the tubes and penthouse. There is a lot you can do with the space inside to make it interesting enough. Eventually neither of us use the shelves as we have added other stuff to create different levels and the ladders are rather steep. But you can take your time over that. Hope you get it. Let us know!

No answer off the person selling the cage. Tried many times tonight! Will have to wait till tomorrow

Good news had an answer off her, the cage is in good condition, no damage and i can have it for £20 when she comes back from her holiday on the 23rd of august! A little wait but it should be worth it!

Make sure the yellow square tube blockers are included candice! Even if you dont get any tubes those are very necessary. They're kind of expensive to order separately too
