How do I tell if my hamster is male or female?

Hello,

So I bought a Winter White Dwarf hamster 2 weeks ago. I'm assuming she is a hybrid because I bought her from a pet store. She is 4 months old today.

I have no idea how to go about checking if she's a girl or a boy. I'm convinced she's a girl by just a quick glance, but I haven't really looked well and I don't know what I'm looking for to find out her gender.

Is she old enough to be able to tell if she's a girl or a boy? What are the signs and how do you find out? I'm sorry I don't know much. I've looked at some diagrams online but it's very difficult to tell. Any advice?

I usually put my dwarves in a clear jar or container and have a quick look underneath. Usually the easiest way to tell for me, is by looking at the scent gland.

By the way, "she" (at least I think it's a she) is 4 months old.
