Post My hamster started to store her food in her litter box...

Little update on my babies.... Pumpkin is now well aware of Peanut, she started to store her food in her litter box. smile emoticon Hamsters are territorial, and love their food staches. This behaviour is Pumpkin saying, "Hey you, this is my food, don't touch it".

Nelly does too, but only the fresh veg and treats. The normal food goes in the nest. Who knows why, and I think its really strange that she differentiates between it! But the food in the litter tray always gets eaten overnight so I don't worry about it too much. Just one of those funny hamster habits :P
