Gender crisis!
I rescued a male robo a few months ago who I named Loki. I was giving him a check over as I've done many times before and suddenly for the first time noticed what I thought were nipples! I looked at photos of the sexes online and think Loki looks female but want to share some photos for others to see as I'm not an expert.
Hope photos are okay, taken on my phone.

Re: Gender crisis!
I'm not an expert either - but I can't see a boy having nipples. Hello Princess Loki!

Re: Gender crisis!
Well as someone who adopted a female robo to discover he is male. I'm 99% sure you have a little boy. Congratulations!

Re: Gender crisis!
I struggle telling robo genders but I think you're definetly right that you have a female there. I'm just very cautious with robos after my own male Muffin looked more female than Whizz (who was definetly female) the day we got him then developed a very obvious scent gland and testicles a few months later lol

Re: Gender crisis!
Thanks for the replies guys! I got Loki out again and had a good look at his (I mean her?!) under belly to look for a scent gland. I really couldn't find anything - and given people say it's really obvious I guess I've got a girl! I've had her since April as she was supposedly 9 months then so a scent gland should have been obvious by now.

Re: Gender crisis!
That's a little girl robo There isn't the spacing of a male. I'll see if one of my boys would like to help demonstrate a little later.

Re: Gender crisis!
Thanks Vectis! At least I can be 100% now. Poor Loki - all these months I've been calling her my little man! Guess it will be my little miss now. It amazing how often this happens with robos.

Re: Gender crisis!
Looks like you have got your answer then! Glad you have tamed Loki enough to handle him/her otherwise you would never have spotted this. Guess it throws into doubt the story you were given by the previous owner- that she had 2brothers that had fallen out and she could only keep one.
So GrannyHam didn't have 3boys to ham sit recently! Jarvis and Mocho were not disturbed by a female around because they would not react to a robo on heat I suppose.
As Serendipity said- welcome Princess Loki xx

Re: Gender crisis!
LOLOL. This does happen a fair bit. It isn't the easiest thing to tell with such small little fluffs.

Re: Gender crisis!
I did the same thing with my dwarfs too. Thought they were boys, then girls, now I just don't care (one is definitely a girl lol) Princess Loki is a cute name though
