Monkey-barring robo!
Hello! Long time no chat. Had a surprise when I went to feed the hamsters this evening. Bit later going down than normal & found Hector monkey-barring round the barred lid of his mini duna! He'd been standing on a bendy bridge to reach. I've lowered it now so he can't reach but I was pretty surprised, I can tell you I didn't think a robo would be able to grip with his furry paws but apparently I was wrong! He'd managed to do a complete circuit before I could grab my phone & record this video. Little Hector - he always likes to surprise me

Awww! How cute!
At first I was like "no way is that possible?!"... Apparently it is!
How adorable, I watched it like 3 times, it's so cute!
Hamsters do find some funny ways to keep themselves occupied and I must say, I love that effort!
Hector is also so very adorable too!

Re: Monkey-barring robo!
It is amazing what hamsters do, they surprise us daily. Mine (Harry) is a vandal he throws everything off of his platform. He literally gets under the sand dish and walks it to the edge to throw it off. It is plastic, not heavy.

Re: Monkey-barring robo!
Just goes to show even a robo will climb or try to given the opportunity! Not so good if they crash to the floor though so it`s better not to give them the chance! So cheeky though! x

Adorable! The little guy is a trapeze artist I was just after saying to my mum not to worry about my loosely meshed bin cage lid cause my robos would never get up there lol. Must've been so funny to watch!!

No, the bendy bridge is much flattened now so he can't reach. I think..... He fell off, ran back around & climbed straight back. But just cos he was fine this time doesn't mean to want to take any chances.
As Cypher said, always full of surprises.....
