Ah thank you Aquarius! I'm glad to hear you think so! He's very curious and isn't shy to coming up to my hand! He has nibbled me countless times however so I'll have to keep an eye on that just in case it escalates but I'm pretty convinced that taming will soon start and it will stop soon!

I know your struggle with Pets at Home with the lack of things, every time I go into my local one their stuff for (mainly dwarf) Hamsters is aaaaalways lacking!
I got most of my stuff online.

You're too right there! I went in wanting to buy all new hideaways and wood tunnels and wood chews and a new wheel..basically a whole new set of items for a hamster cage- honestly I only came out with a packet of treats, a food bowl, a water bottle and two medium sized bendy bridges! Luckily I already had all the supplies I needed bar the ones I bought at home! Though I still need to buy another wheel! Online sounds like the only option unfortunately!

With hamsters you're also right! They always have a ton of empty "cages" whenever I go the only ones left are usually Syrian's! I actually went in expecting either to not be able to get a little Russian and I was surprised that I actually got to PICK!
