If you do need to separate they will adjust to the change. Hamsters don't have human emotions, they do adapt quickly when separated from a cagemate and after a few days they're usually back to normal. With fur having been pulled out it does look like problems between them are escalating so you'll need to be very careful to make sure you spot the signs of things getting worse and can separate if you need to.
Have you checked both hamsters carefully for bites or wounds? There may be scabs hidden under the fur so you'll need to brush the fur back to check the skin properly. Most bites are usually around the rump (like the fur loss) but they can be anywhere.
If blood has been drawn I would strongly advise separating. If they keep fighting after that point it could be a matter of time before someone gets seriously injured. If blood hasn't been drawn and you would like to try and let them stay together then I'd look at what you can do to try and reduce friction between them.
Whatever you do I'd also advise double checking their genders if you've got any doubt at all, its better to know sooner rather than later if they are different genders.

Do you know the steps you could take to try and stop the signs of trouble?

I think, as people say, you should separate them now or you could find one of them dead tomorrow. There was another post about that recently. Yes they are brothers but when Robos fight it's more like Cain and Abel than brotherly love. One will win and the other one will get seriously injured or killed.

In the meantime, you need to get another water bottle for any separations as it`s not fair on the one separated not to have what the other hamster has and was used to. Keeping his layout the same if he does eventually have to be separated will keep things familiar for him.

When keeping any pair of dwarf hamsters together, it`s always wise to be prepared with a spare cage, accessories and readiness to move quickly should their behaviour change. x
