Transporting Hammy to Vet
I need to take Everest to the Pets at Home vet tomorrow, for her complimentary check up I accepted when i bought her. Thing is I almost forgot about this, and whilst I completely intended on getting a little carrier for her travels I failed.
I have the choice of nipping to Poundstretcher to see what kinda stuff they have but i worry plastic might be too warm? Am i over thinking it?
I also have access to a ridiculous amount of cardboard boxes at work today.
Any suggestions on how to make the trip comfortable for her? Shes very energetic!

Just bumping this to get some recommendations.
A shoe box with ventilation can work if you don't have a dedicated chewer.
Put some of the substrate from his home in so it smells ok. Also if you have or get a proper carrier let him play in it so it has his smells and is familiar.

How did you end up taking Everest to the Vet in the end? Was she on her best behavior

Re: Transporting Hammy to Vet
My lovely partner went out in the morning as soon as he woke up and bought a proper carrier. It was big enough to allow us to put her bed in so she was at home in there. The vet trip went splendid and Everest is healthy and happy
