We have had Mr Bear for about 3 months now. He caught my eye in a small but packed pet shop as he was deperately trying to escape from a tiny aquarium . The owner said he was just a baby but was the same size as he is now. He was on his own & almost saying help if you know what I mean. He has been extremely tame from the day I got him home & the only Syrian I have picked up in bare hands straight away, normally worried they will bite. I am not sure how old he is but his spine has alway been sticking out although his isnt skinny. His claws are also quite thick & a couple were bleeding when he was in pet shop. No idea why. Anyway here he is.

He is gorgeous Chase. He looks very plush and handsome and healthy now. Maybe he did not get enough excercise to wear his claws down in that tiny tank. Glad to hear he is nice and friendly too
I had a rescue syrian who came from a small carry tank and his nails were bleeding! I imagine he was immensely trying to dig his way out of plastic...
Mr Bear is a cutey and I love his name!
