campbells dwarf seems to like me but still bites please help

Ive had her for 3 weeks now and let her take treats out from my finger (not my hand lying on bottom of cage) and whenever I go up to the plastic cage she really scuppers up like she is desperate to get to me. But when I put her in her long storage box play area I got her and feed her she still bites when I lie my hand flat and seems threatened? Please can anyone help she is lovely and I just want to be her friend! thanks

3 weeks is not so long and she may need some time to be comfortable with being picked up. She may also have cage agression where they defend their own territory. I would always pick her up by herding her into a tube or ball or box then let her climb out on to your knee or lap. Keep persisting with holding her and allowing her to walk through your fingers.
Our dwarfs often lick and nibble fingers. It does not hurt as they don't bite down. They just seem to like doing that!
I am sure given time, patience and lots of love she will come round.
