It may just have been bad luck and the hamsters have passed away young. Where did they come from? It could be that the lines are not long lived or have some genetic problem leading to perhaps a heart weakness or some other illness which could cause them to pass away suddenly.
I hope the other hamsters are with you for a lot longer. There is quite a variation in lifespan withing the different species.

It could be just one of those things, I lost an old male and youngish female in the space of a week and there was no reasoning and all the others were fine. Recently it's been about a year since I lost one - so all is good.
Hopefully your remaining 2 will be ok, although the Russian may be lonely now
Best wishes and take care

I know what u mean, I had to have my syrian hamster put down because of an abdominal tumor and then a week later one of my winter whites died after having a stroke. Not to mention my dog dying the day before my hamser from a stroke also. I felt like i had the touch of death lol. My other WW has also started sleeping all day and night. Im sure it must be hard when you cant see exactly why they have passed away. I hope your other 2 are alright
