The only place I've seen Chinchilla Sand, apart from Amazon, is The Range. They have two different types, and it's around £2.50-£3 depending on which one you get. I've used both, an they're both fine

I heard Amazon double the amount to get free delivery, they couldn't have been making much of a profit or they've become greedy. I've a feeling others will follow.

Managed to find some today, Pet Store didn't have any, but the Homeware store next door did
Was some of that Supreme Petfoods Science Bathing stuff, £3.50.

Just need to find a suitable bowl for them to have a go now

Update:

Fluffs had their first go with the bathing sand today, after a couple minutes of digging in it, they were happily rolling about

I'm glad they enjoyed it after all the effort to find some! I have bought chinchilla sand in Pampurred Pets but I'm not sure if they have stores all over the country? Forgot what the brand was, Lola or something?

I always mine from VetUK Supreme Chinchilla Sand. Cheapest around & very quick to deliver. I've never waited more than two days.
