I recently purchased a cute dwarf hamster, but the pet shop only said she was a dwarf hamster. I did not realize they had different species until I researched her when I got home. I think she is either a Winter White or a Campbell, but would love to know which one for certain. Can someone please tell me?

She looks closest to a normal Campbell though her shape does have some Winter whiteness to it so I would say she is a Hybrid. The pets shops call them Russians to cover WW, Campbell and hybrids. Very pretty little lady and welcome to HC
As she's from a pet shop she will be a hybrid of the two. Hybrids can be prone to things like diabetes, so be careful with giving her any sugary treats/fruits.
She's lovely congrats!
Some hybrids do change colour but some don't there's really no way to know except wait & see!

She looks gorgeous! You'll have to keep to savoury treats and sugar free ones then. Cheese, whimzee chews are ok I think, veggies. Most of them like broccoli, carrot, cauliflower. Charlie will eat any veggies but apparently lettuce and cabbage are to be avoided. Just a tiny wee piece of veg though no bigger than a centimetre cube - I give two tiny pieces that size to supplement his hamster mix each day and save other things for treats - like a cubed centimetre of cheese, half a brazil nut or a couple of sunflower seeds.
She will love having a detolf I'm sure!
