Talking Rescuing little Sherlock!

After the passing of my last Syrian Cruella De Vil (I seem to have two accounts on here my other one is Inuyoku). I needed to fill the gap so yesterday went to the local pets at home to buy some bits and bobs for my other pets, and there was a poor little robo ham by himself in the adoption centre. Apparently they couldn't sell him so moved him to be adopted, hes approx 3-4 months, I fell in love! I can't leave him in there a day longer. They called him 'Robbie' which doesn't fit with my quirky names, so he's having a name change to Sherlock!!

I'm going to collect him after work (hopefully finishing at 12) and bring him home! I've got his tank set up ready, I just need to buy some sand for him.

It feels so good to be rescuing the poor little robo ham, he had very little bedding and just a wicker hut and food bowl

Pictures as soon as I can!

His tank is all set up & ready, I love it! Just going to have a cup of tea and dry my hair and then I'm going on a hammy homing mission for Sherlock!

Really great to hear about another adoption animal on HC, well done. He`s going to love digging around his new home and you will probably be well entertained later on just watching him! x

Great to hear of your new adoption. I can't wait to see the pictures. I love the name by the way, one of my old dogs middle name was similar.

He's home!!!! Hes exploring atm and trying to find an escape route through the glass lol! When I'm on the laptop later I will upload a couple of photos i've taken quickly, I'm leaving him to settle before he has a hammy photo session!

The person who served me was useless he didn't check my age, if I knew what they ate, cage sizrs, etc. all he asked was "have you had hamsters before?" & "is his cage ready?".

I had to get the poor baby out of there >.< i'm not a big fan of P&H as I use to work in a vets that saw their sick animals.. ;(
