Jocardi's Sunday clear out!!

Every sunday morning I come down to find my girl Jocci doing house keeping in her nest. We sat and watched her this morning and she was at it for over an hour. She pushes the soiled bedding and substrate out the front of her nest into an enormous heap then digs, scratches and drags clean stuff in from around the cage leaving big bald patches on the floor!!
She does this every Sunday....even tho you usually do the weekly clean on Saturday night. Does she know its Sunday?? I've never seen her do this any other day. (ive been off school this last two weeks and down at the same time and shes always away with the fairys before 8.30!!)

Aww she's very set in her ways!
At this very moment Twinkle's sorting out her bedding area and has been for the last 20 minutes, the noise she makes and the mess is mega for something so small.

Lol! Every Sunday morning! Well she is a girl, maybe she has weekly biorhythms or something. Did you say you clean the cage saturday night? Maybe she's learning and copying you?!

Thanks for the pictures, they are so cute. She is certainly in to her sorting out. Our fluffs do have their own routines, some seem to be based on the routines that we have and they are part of and others are just their own personalities. Seems that the Sunday morning sorting might be linked to the Saturday cleaning. Perhaps Lady Jocardi spends her Saturday nights on her wheel thinking about how to put things her way before she goes to sleep.

Yes... i guess thats a possibility! its just wonderful to watch them though. She certainly knows what shes doing and doesnt stop til shes happy with it. She pushed her porch ( lolly box) out of the way to do the job...then attempted to pull it back in place...but its fallen over. I shall wait until shes woken up to see what she wants to do with it!! X

lol! what a busy girl! She's very determined to put things to rights after her cage has been cleaned, they do like things to be just so, their way!
