Welcome back!
I've also got the Riviera Varazze and absolutely love it - especially the colouring (goes so nicely with wooden toys). I hope Jenny's enjoying it

Thanks Yeah it does fit nicely with the natural theme. I also have a matching food bowl that I got from zooplus last year so might put it in. She settled into her new cage fairly quickly so I'm happy bout that.

Sorry too hear about your time in hospital, glad to hear your stomach is better.
I had problems with my stomach since I was little. Its genetic. It usually isn't that serious and some tablets help, but that time the pain was so strong that I just had to go to hospital. I also had to get my kidneys cleared as I took to much medication. Doctor: "Did you take any medications before coming here?"
Me:" Yeah, 12 paracetamols"
Doctor:" UMMM... have you taken anything else apart from the excessive amount of paracetamol?"
Me:"Yes, I took 9 Ibuprofens and some stomach pain relief tablets. About 5 of those"
He said I'm lucky to be alive. Haha

Hi and welcome back. It's a very nice cage - I like the setup - is that aspen or hemp bedding? Hope the exams all turn out fine - glad your stomach problems sorted - stress can do funny things to people. Is your cage in an airing cupboard lol?! I just saw the two slatted shelves and thought it looked like inside of our airing cupboard.

Thanks Its hemp bedding. I'm revising as much as I can so hopefully it should be all ok. No its not an airing cupboard haha . This used to be a wardrobe. I removed the old wooden, disgusting door. Painted the frame white. Added 3 shelves. I have Jenny on the bottom one, books on the second one and clothes on the 3rd one. That's why I was restricted with space. Why would someone make 2 wardrobes in a small bedroom..? Hence why is converted into hamster/storage space. It took some time to make them but I am impressed with the result. They are strong (tested them with myself lol)

OMG! All those painkillers you took. The stomach pain must've been bad.
No wonder you were in hospital for 6 days.
How are you settling into your new home?

I'm settling in fine. I really like the location- very quiet. The only negative thing about the house is that its semi-detached so the neighbour is sometimes loud, so is his dog. Its a 4 bedroom house. My dad took the biggest bedroom. The one identical in size to his is made into a fitness room. Then I got the smallest one. But I'm gonna persuade him to make the bedroom i'm in right now a pet room and I will move into the middle sized one. New carpets were fitted I each room. The walls will be painted mid-may and new kitchen furniture will be bought at the start of the June. My dad said I could choose what one I want so ill make the kitchen orange-black. And I have to install electricity and water into the shed to make it my DIY centre and a house for Twix at the same time. For those of you that don't know Twix is a dog, Golden Retriever. He became really depressed when Toffi died so I have been spending more time with him.

That sounds good about using your room as the pet room and getting a bigger space for yourself.
I like the sound of your D.I.Y shed.
That's the thing when you move, you've got different noises, neighbours and smells.
I remember when I was a kid moving from a semi-detached to a detached house -oh the quietness was bliss.
